Newly appointed Brazilian Ambassador in Washington addresses US-Brazil’s relations

On September, 13th, Brazilian Ambassador Sérgio Amaral addressed the present status and future perspectives of the US-Brazil relations at the Wilson Center. The Ambassador emphasized the recent changes in Brazil’s political scenario and presented the Brazilian government’s new guidelines, covering a broad spectrum of subjects, such as trade, infra-structure and social policies. He also underlined U.S. and Brazil’s common interests, essentially in the fields of human rights, energy, trade facilitation and environment.
