Message from our Chairman

The relationship between Brazil and the United States has been historically fruitful and stable. Nevertheless, the next years open the opportunity of a closer economic relationship. This prospect may be fulfilled, for our countries share many common values, from creed in democracy to the belief in individual freedom, and from entrepreneurship to the relevance of innovation. As Brazil emerges in the world stage, the partnership with the U.S. becomes even more relevant as a tool to promote and guarantee these values in a changing world.

We believe that the Brazilian private sector will be active on advancing these goals, on strengthening the relationship between both countries, on removing barriers to bilateral trade and investment. The Brazil Industries Coalition (BIC), with its active presence in Washington, DC, is a fundamental tool to provide information to the Brazilian private sector, and to coordinate its initiatives aiming at increasing the economic ties between our countries.
