Diego Zancan Bonomo

Executive Director

Diego Zancan Bonomo is the Executive Director of the Brazil Industries Coalition (BIC). Prior to joining the BIC, Diego was General Coordinator of Trade and Foreign Affairs at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), and represented the Federation in Geneva-based WTO Doha Round talks. He also worked at the Strategic Affairs Unit inside the Executive Office of President Lula da Silva. He has been heading the BIC since February 2008. Diego holds a bachelor’s and masters degree in International Relations from the Pontific Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).

Christine Studart

Manager

As the BIC’s manager, Christine Studart brings a varied background and extensive international experience. She has previously worked as project manager, translator and interpreter. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Publicity and Advertising from the Gama Filho University, Rio de Janeiro; two post-graduate degrees in European Business from the Southbank University, London, and Education from the Santa Ursula University, Rio de Janeiro; and a certificate in translation and interpretation from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).

Alinne Oliveira

International Trade Specialist

As the BIC’s International Trade Specialist, Alinne Oliveira is responsible for tracking and monitoring legislation and other trade-related issues. She also provides support in the institutional relations of the BIC’s members in the United States. Alinne has previous experience as an Imports Specialist, assisting American importers with merchandise clearance with U.S. Customs. She was also a fellow and consultant for FINCA International in Ecuador and Mexico. Alinne holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
